Well Ery, haven't heard from you yet on And the Sky Full of Stars. The first big episode as far as answering some of the questions.
The next two episodes have some heavy ethical stuff to think about

Make absolutely sure that you see tomorrow's Episode of B5, "Signs and Portents". It cranks the arc up a bit, and most of the rest of Season one (Ends April 12) are "Wham" episodes with lots of new questions and some new answers, more answers come by about the 3rd episode of Season 2 (Season 2 starts April 13).
Ery, yeah. awfully curious about them Vorlons, eh? Maybe that's why I always found them fascinating.

... and all of a sudden, I'm over halfway through Season I.
Having missed three eps, I read up on the syopses of the eps I missed (Believers, Survivors and By Any Means Necessary) on Lurkers, and of course, watched "Signs and Portents" this afternoon.
Interesting note: I saw Fredi Olster YEARS and YEARS ago at the Ashland Shakespearean festival. She looked good then, same sort of costume, but with hair.
I wonder if beeing a seer, as Lady Ladira was, is considered similar to Earth's Psi Corp? Obviosly, Ladira seems to be dialed into a network... as, less obviously, Kosh and the Vorlons are. It was a Vorlon ship, I take it, that vaporized the raider ship at the end?
The interesting revelations are that the Minbari insisted on Sinclair captaining B5. What would be nice to know is WHY, and I'm sure that Sinclair's wondering that by the time he takes Garibaldi into his confidence and asks for help filling in that hole in his mind.
Morden's role was certainly hard to figure out. The Vorlons didn't appear to have as tough a time as I did, for it appears that they chased him off B5. For how long, I guess I'll have to wait to discover!
Questions about Raider technology: at the end, the chief raider tells Lord Kiro at the end. I'd have thought that the ability to create a jump gate would be a highly classified secret, but I guess everything's got a price.
Will Lady Ladira's vision come true? She sees B5's destruction, and even shares that vision with Sinclair after her nephew's death. Or is that, as Sinclair asks, something that MIGHT come to pass?
What does Delenn know about Morden? She reacts more violently to his question, "what do you want?" than the other ambassadors. What happens to bring that triangle out on her forehead (didn't that appear in Sinclair's vision of Delenn in the Grey Council too?)
Whatever the Eye is, it appears to be either a powerful talisman or a political symbol, which makes Lord Kiro think of overthrowing the government (as he apparently tries to enlist the raiders to assist, unsuccessfully. Intersting that the raiders say nearly exactly the same as Mollari about Lord Kiro's chances of doing that!) What will Mollari do with it, since it's somehow been saved from destruction and given to him by Morlen? Does this mean that he, out of all the ambassadors might get his wish?
O beware what you wish for... you might get it!

Think about it. Morden gave the eye back to Molari. If he is a Shadow servent, then that Black spidery "Shadowy" looking ship that destroyed the raiders was a ??????
LOL...the shadows ships are far more interesting looking. I suspect that their is some hidden DNA in the Minbari or atleast Delenns family (cant say much more with ruining it) that makes the triluminary symbol appear. There were lots that I j\hadn't mentioned before in that ep.

Boy B5 certainly gets good actors through the airlock doors.... David Warner! And William Sanderson's plenty sinister.
To think that people might still be searching for the holy grail's kind of reassuring. And the concept of seekers deserving honour because they're committed to looking, not necessarily finding, is great. And she certainly gives some significant hints to Sinclair about HIS role as a seeker: "Perhaps you do not know yourself as well as you believe."
The only unanswered question is, if you were Thomas, would YOU get on a ship called the Marie Celeste? Hunh uh!
Thomas' character is very sweet, very innocent. And I do enjoy his rehabilitation from seeing himself as a jinx to a very fortunate man.
Ivanova's last lines are hysterical as she, Garibaldi and Sinclair debate the curse: "Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow." TOO funny.
I guess I have a couple more questions: what's a cycle? And what's the upcoming movie next Monday, and why are they saying it's going to be viewed for the first time in the order it was meant to be seen?

I am the only one getting a bit tired of Delenn's ever so subtle references to Sinclair's destiny (rolls her eyes)
Don't you love the use of historical names and ships in the series?
Oh, and on the subject of Crusade. No watching for you. It is set five years after B5 ends so there are spoilers in it.
Watching "Grail", I exptect Deuce to say, "Hi, I'm Larry. This is my brother Daryl, and this is my other brother, Daryl."
The Minbari are always a bit smug about how much more spiritual they are than humans. But Delenn certainly seems to have a different attitude when discussing what happens when the warrior caste and the religious caste agree on something, doesn't she?
Londo is great in that ep. I love his reaction when he finds out that the creature might actually be on B5. And his attempt to extort money from Aldus, only to be thwarted by Vir's "efficiency"! As I haven't an encyclopedic knowledge of the B5 eps, has he called Vir a "moon faced assassin of joy" yet? My favorite Londo insult, followed by "Ah, arrogance and stupidity all in the same package. How efficient of you!"
